Endgame Technique Workshops are where I turn close games into consistent wins for my students. Instead of hoping for a blunder, your child learns exactly how to convert an extra pawn or defend a tough position with confidence.
I break complicated endgames into simple, repeatable patterns: king and pawn races, opposition, basic rook endings, and must-know checkmates like king and queen vs king. Students practice these positions over and over until the correct technique feels automatic, just like knowing a multiplication table.
For players under 1400, this training is one of the fastest ways to gain rating points. Many opponents will reach winning positions and still draw or lose; my students learn how to stay calm, calculate clearly, and finish the job. Parents usually notice a big mindset shift: instead of giving up when pieces come off the board, students start to play their best chess in the final phase of the game.
